BermudAir is expanding its Caribbean presence this winter, unveiling plans for “AnguillAir”—a new airline linking Baltimore and Boston directly with Anguilla. The move aims to strengthen connectivity between the U.S. East Coast and this lesser-served Caribbean destination.
The Highlights
- BermudAir is launching a new airline, AnguillAir, focused on flights to Anguilla.
- Nonstop service will connect Anguilla to Baltimore and Boston, with flights starting December 2025.
- The airline seeks to enhance travel and economic links between the United States and the Caribbean.
Details of the New Routes
Starting December 2025, AnguillAir will offer twice-weekly, nonstop service on two main routes:
- Anguilla (AXA) to Baltimore (BWI): Mondays and Fridays, from December 22, 2025, to April 6, 2026
- Anguilla (AXA) to Boston (BOS): Wednesdays and Saturdays, from December 20, 2025, to April 8, 2026
Tickets for these new routes are now on sale. The direct connection will make Anguilla more accessible to U.S. travelers, providing an alternative to traditional connecting routes through Puerto Rico or Miami.
A Boost for Anguilla
Anguilla is a British overseas territory with historically limited air connections. Until recently, most flights required a stopover in San Juan, Puerto Rico, or, more recently, Miami. Nonstop links to major U.S. cities have only begun in recent years, making this announcement particularly significant.
With AnguillAir, travelers from Baltimore and Boston will enjoy greater convenience, faster travel times, and increased flexibility. It is expected this will boost tourism and business, delivering economic benefits to Anguilla and the surrounding region.
BermudAir’s Ambitious Growth
Since its launch in 2023, BermudAir has become known for nonstop flights between Bermuda and over a dozen destinations in North America. The company originally focused on all-business-class flights, but quickly adapted to offer both business and economy seating. With the launch of AnguillAir, BermudAir further demonstrates its commitment to connecting island destinations with the U.S.
Adam Scott, BermudAir’s founder and CEO, highlights this expansion as a core part of the airline’s mission—to deliver exceptional service and lasting value not just to Bermuda but across the Caribbean. AnguillAir will operate with a dedicated Embraer E-Jet and its own distinctive brand identity.
What Travelers Can Expect
While details such as themed cocktails (a BermudAir signature) for AnguillAir have yet to be announced, passengers can expect the airline’s focus on attentive service and comfortable travel. The move also reflects broader trends of increased connectivity and direct routes to smaller Caribbean islands—a boon for travelers seeking authenticity and convenience.
Looking Ahead
If AnguillAir’s launch proves successful, it could pave the way for further expansion from BermudAir and similar carriers, especially as demand for Caribbean travel continues to increase. For now, the upcoming winter season brings new opportunities for East Coast travelers to experience Anguilla’s white-sand beaches and vibrant culture with ease.
