JetBlue has significantly expanded its partnership with Condor Airlines, allowing TrueBlue loyalty program members to now earn and redeem points on flights operated by the German leisure carrier. This move opens up a wealth of new transatlantic travel possibilities for JetBlue’s frequent flyers, including attractive redemption rates for business class seats.
At a Glance
- TrueBlue members can now earn and redeem points on Condor flights.
- Business class awards to Europe start at 54,000 TrueBlue points one-way.
- Condor offers nonstop flights from several major U.S. cities to Frankfurt.
Expanded Redemption Opportunities
JetBlue loyalists can now leverage their TrueBlue points for travel across the Atlantic with Condor. This enhanced collaboration means members can use their accumulated points for flights to Frankfurt, a major European hub. From Frankfurt, passengers can connect to numerous other German cities and popular European destinations such as Paris, Rome, and Zurich.
Attractive Award Pricing
Early redemption options are proving to be quite appealing. For instance, a one-way economy award from New York (JFK) to Frankfurt is available starting at 19,000 TrueBlue points. Premium economy seats can be booked for 34,000 points, while business class, featuring lie-flat seats, is accessible for as low as 54,000 points one-way. This provides a valuable new avenue for members to experience European travel using their loyalty currency.
Earning Points with Condor
In addition to redemption benefits, TrueBlue members can also earn points when flying on Condor with a cash fare by adding their TrueBlue number to their booking. This makes Condor an “earn and redeem” partner for JetBlue, similar to existing relationships with airlines like TAP Air Portugal, Icelandair, Qatar Airways, and Etihad Airways. This dual benefit maximizes the value TrueBlue members can derive from flying with Condor.
Important Considerations for Elite Status
It is important to note that while points earned from flying Condor can be redeemed, they will not contribute towards earning JetBlue’s Mosaic elite status. Mosaic Tiles are earned through qualified spending on JetBlue-specific flights, vacations, or through spending on JetBlue co-branded credit cards. Therefore, flights with Condor will not help members achieve or maintain elite status with JetBlue.
How to Book
TrueBlue members can search for eligible award flights operated by Condor and redeem their points directly through JetBlue’s website or the JetBlue mobile app. This streamlined process makes it easier for members to plan and book their European adventures.
