I had a fantastic experience at the Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge at Toronto Pearson International Airport (Terminal 1, International departures). This lounge was a perfect pre-flight retreat and exceeded my expectations in several ways.

Highlights of my visit:

Bright and spacious layout with big windows and lots of natural light. The lounge has a calm, relaxing vibe—ideal for unwinding before a long-haul flight.

Great food and beverage options. The buffet had a nice mix of hot and cold dishes (the pasta and soups were especially good), plus snacks, desserts, and a full-service bar with wine, beer, and spirits. Coffee and espresso machines were also available and easy to use.

Clean showers and private spaces. The shower suites were spotless and well-stocked, and the quiet areas made it easy to relax or get some work done.

Fast Wi-Fi and charging outlets at nearly every seat. As someone who often works on the go, this was a big plus.

The lounge was a bit busy during peak afternoon hours, but staff did a great job keeping everything tidy and restocking the food stations regularly. Despite the traffic, it never felt chaotic.

Overall, I really enjoyed my time here and would happily return. It’s a great perk for anyone flying internationally with Air Canada or Star Alliance partners.
