Rio de Janeiro-Galeão International Airport (GIG) offers Priority Pass members access to the GOL Smiles Lounge, a sophisticated retreat in Terminal 2, airside after passport control. With an ambiance inspired by Rio’s lively culture and stunning coastline, this lounge offers a premium space to unwind before an international journey.

Open daily from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., the lounge features a selection of Brazilian delicacies, including pão de queijo (cheese bread), brigadeiros, and refreshing açaí bowls. A variety of caipirinhas and Brazilian wines are available at the bar. Guests can enjoy comfortable seating, Wi-Fi, flight information screens, and shower facilities to freshen up before departure.

Newspapers, magazines, and televisions offer entertainment, while the lounge’s décor echoes the vibrant art scene of Santa Teresa and the natural beauty of Sugarloaf Mountain. A maximum stay of three hours applies, and children under two years old are admitted free.
